- Use ONLY on the iPhone 7 with iOS 10.1 or iOS 10.1.1!
- Contains: Dropbear (SSH), Substrate Enabler, full launchd fix!
- Will fix the corrupted launchd after using yaluX. For various reasons and for everybody's safety, you'll need to run a modified version of the mach_portal app (See why down below!). If Luca decides to upload my version of mach_portal to his website, you won't need to download the modified version, but we're and never gonna be best friends!
- Install this package before using the modified mach_portal app!
- You can find the modified mach_portal app on yalu.ijapija00.com
Version 1.0~alpha3 -------- 2017-04-20
- Full launchd fix included, fixing backboardd permanently!
- Added an escape path in /var/mobile/Media/yaluXpwr/. Place .deb files (signed by me) to install them on the next reboot.
Version 1.0~alpha2 -------- 2017-03-31
- Initial Release! Support for RocketBootstrap and (Anemone?)...
Known Issues + Info
- The launchd kernel patch isn't included yet :(. Reason? I don't have a device on 10.1 and I already have testers with the 'full' beta version. The process is quite tricky since I don't have the main source for this jailbreak, and back in 2016 I made a backboardd fix, but launchd was still corrupted! I don't want to make a bad fix, and even though I've already handed out this to a few people, I can't guarantee it's 100% safe. I can't handle hundreds of e-mails telling me this package is broken. For now, it will enable all Launch Daemons and kill SpringBoard without using 'killall -9 SpringBoard'. Also RocketBootstrap should work, even though it tells 'Missing System Files...'. When I finished this package, everybody can enjoy killing backboardd with no issues! :)
- Don't ask me for a final ETA! I have a lot of private stuff to take care of at the moment!
- If you are familiar with the iOS kernel, you can contribute to the project. I read e-mails, but my inbox is full of spam so don't expect me to be fast.
- This package is 100% safe and you can always revert the process by removing this package and use the 'original' mach_portal app!
- I am not Luca's best friend, and I don't want to be his. He and saurik made a big deal of my stashing utility so I can't care less. The main reason for using a modified version of mach_portal is because I need to trigger a launch daemon to launch my binary which handles the patching. The mach_portal app only loads the ssh daemon, so I need to choose: patch mach_portal completely or write a completely new binary. My option is to write a new binary and trigger it instead of the ssh daemon. Of course, SSH is enabled as usual. As an escape, I also don't patch anything from the original mach_portal, which means that you can use the original mach_portal as well if I (I *hopefully* won't) mess up something with my binary!
